Refund & Return Policy

inwestout.com provides digital research publications, analytical tools, and subscription-based access to premium content related to equity markets. All products are delivered digitally. This policy explains when refunds apply and how to request them.
1. Digital products and subscriptions
inwestout.com offers digital-only products including:
- Premium research subscriptions (monthly and annual plans)
- Access to the Quality-of-Earnings Analyzer tool
- Access to the CSE Market Intelligence Terminal
- Individual research dossier downloads (where applicable)
Because all products are delivered electronically and are accessible immediately upon payment, no physical goods are involved and no physical returns are accepted.
2. Refund eligibility
All sales are final. Refunds are issued only in the following specific circumstances:
- Verified technical error — if a paid feature was completely inaccessible due to a confirmed error on our part, you may request a refund within 24 hours of experiencing the issue. You must provide a screenshot or description of the error.
- Duplicate payment — accidental double charges will be refunded in full immediately upon verification.
- Service discontinuation — if inwestout.com permanently discontinues a paid service you have subscribed to, a pro-rata refund for the unused period will be issued.
3. Non-refundable situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- Change of mind or dissatisfaction with the content of research publications
- Dissatisfaction with the analytical conclusions or investment outcomes based on our research — our research is not investment advice and does not guarantee any specific outcome
- Technical error claims submitted more than 24 hours after the issue occurred
- Partial use of a subscription period
- Cases where access was suspended due to violation of our Terms & Conditions
- Any reason other than the specific technical error and duplicate payment cases listed above
4. Subscription cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:
- Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period
- No further charges will be made
- Refunds for the remaining unused period are not automatically issued unless the service is discontinued by us
5. How to request a refund
To request a refund for a verified technical error or duplicate payment:
- Email: support@inwestout.com within 24 hours of the issue
- Include your PayHere payment reference number, the email address used for payment, and a screenshot of the error
- We will review and respond within 24 hours
- Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 7–14 business days
6. Currency and charges
All payments are processed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) via PayHere. Refunds will be issued in LKR to the original payment method. We are not responsible for any currency conversion losses or bank charges incurred by the customer during the refund process.
7. Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorized, please contact us at support@inwestout.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We will work to resolve the issue directly. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in suspension of your account.
