1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing inwestout.com, creating an account, or making a payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this site and make payments. By using the site, you confirm you meet this requirement.

• Independent equity research — original analysis of companies listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), published as research dossiers
• CSE Market Intelligence Terminal — a tool aggregating publicly available market data, news, and analytical signals
• Quality-of-Earnings Analyzer — an AI-powered tool that analyzes uploaded financial reports and generates structured analytical output
• IPO allocation tools — simulators and calculators for CSE IPOs based on historical data
• Premium subscriptions — paid access to extended features, detailed research, and analytical tools

3. No investment advice — important disclaimer

All research, analysis, opinions, scores, ratings, labels (including "STRONG", "WEAK", "NEUTRAL", "Deep Dive", "Thesis", "Key Observation", and similar), and analytical outputs published on inwestout.com are personal opinions and educational content only. They are not and should not be construed as:

• Investment advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security
• A solicitation or offer to buy or sell any security
• Financial planning advice
• A guarantee of future performance or returns
• Allegations of fraud, illegality, or misconduct against any company or individual — analytical observations are opinion, not legal findings

Past performance discussed in our research does not guarantee future results. Equity investments involve risk of capital loss. You should conduct your own independent research and consult a SEC Sri Lanka-licensed financial advisor before making any investment decision.

4. User accounts and subscriptions

Certain features require a paid subscription. By subscribing:

• You agree to pay the applicable subscription fee as displayed at the time of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You may not share, transfer, or resell your account access to any third party
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, scrapers, or bots to extract content from the site
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our analytical tools
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code via the analyzer or any other feature
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Misrepresent our analytical outputs as your own original work or as investment advice
• Upload documents containing confidential, proprietary, or personally sensitive third-party information without appropriate authority

6. Intellectual property

All research dossiers, analytical frameworks, visualizations, code, and written content on inwestout.com are the intellectual property of Damith Priyadarshana / DamithInvest and are protected by copyright.

You may share links to our research pages and quote short excerpts (up to 150 words) with clear attribution to inwestout.com. You may not reproduce full research dossiers, paywalled content, or our proprietary analytical frameworks without written permission.

Financial data cited in our research is sourced from public CSE filings, annual reports, and company disclosures. We do not claim ownership over underlying financial data.

7. The Quality-of-Earnings Analyzer — specific terms

The Analyzer uses the Anthropic Claude AI API to process uploaded financial documents. By using the Analyzer:

• You confirm you have the right to upload the documents you submit
• You understand that documents are sent to the Anthropic API for processing and are subject to Anthropic's usage policies
• You acknowledge that AI-generated analysis may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional financial analysis
• You will not upload documents containing personally identifiable information about individuals without their consent
• Analyzer outputs are opinion and analytical observation only — not investment advice

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, inwestout.com and Damith Priyadarshana / DamithInvest shall not be liable for:

• Any investment losses, missed opportunities, or financial damages arising from reliance on our content
• Errors or inaccuracies in research, data, or analytical outputs
• Interruption or unavailability of the site or any service
• Unauthorized access to your account or data by third parties despite reasonable security measures

Our total liability for any claim arising from use of this site shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Payments and billing

All payments are processed securely by PayHere (payhere.lk). We do not store card details on our servers. By making a payment you also agree to PayHere's terms of service. All prices are displayed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

10. Modifications to services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes affecting paid subscribers. If we discontinue a paid service, we will issue a pro-rata refund for the unused subscription period.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of inwestout.com shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka. We encourage resolution of any dispute first through direct contact at support@inwestout.com before pursuing formal proceedings.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes we will notify active subscribers by email.
