The CSE Market Terminal is InwestOut's quantitative research platform for the Colombo Stock Exchange. It aggregates real-time news sentiment, earnings data, quant models, and pattern analysis into a single dashboard built specifically for serious CSE investors and researchers.
Unlike broker research portals that rely on analyst consensus and price targets, the CSE Terminal is built on raw data β scraped from CSE announcements, processed through sentiment models, and visualised for pattern recognition. It is a tool for investors who want to understand the market, not just follow it.
The news feed aggregates live coverage from EconomyNext, Daily FT, and other major Sri Lankan financial publications. Each article is processed to extract company mentions, assign a sentiment score (positive, neutral, or negative), and categorise by sector. This allows investors to quickly see which companies and sectors are receiving bullish or bearish press coverage on any given day.
The Earnings Analytics module tracks 14 quarters of reported earnings data across 299 loaded earnings periods for CSE-listed companies. It allows investors to compare reported profit trends, identify earnings quality issues, and spot discrepancies between reported profit and underlying cash flow generation β the gap that InwestOut's research methodology focuses on most.
The Pattern Library captures historical price and volume patterns for CSE-listed securities, enabling event-driven analysis before earnings announcements, regulatory disclosures, and corporate actions. The Quant Models tab provides systematic screening criteria based on valuation, momentum, and quality factors derived from annual report disclosures.
